What we can take over
The websites still need someone.
A hosting renewal, a page to update, a client with a question. The requests keep coming even when you’re ready to slow down. Peich builds websites and looks after them from Montréal.
Hosting and maintenance
Clients who pay you monthly or annually to keep their website online and up to date.
Ongoing website support
Clients who come back for changes or a redesign. We can look at these accounts even without a recurring plan.
A few clients we work with
See our workA transition we plan together
You make the introductions. We take it from there.
We look at your situation
Your approximate client count, services, recurring revenue and timeline. Overall figures are enough to start.
We agree on the terms in writing
We define the accounts involved, compensation, payment schedule and your role during the transition.
We introduce ourselves to your clients
We prepare the announcement with you. Each client knows who will look after their website and what terms are being offered before the transfer.
We arrange the handover
We plan access, hosting and ongoing support. You share what we need to know about each website, then we become the point of contact.
Your client relationships have value
You get paid for the clients who stay.
Our preferred approach ties compensation to clients who continue with Peich after the handover. We agree on the amount, tracking period and payment dates with you before getting started.
The offer depends on revenue, the work involved and what the clients need. We review your situation before proposing a figure.
Before you hand things over
Do I have to transfer all my clients?
No. We can look at part of your client base, such as hosting accounts or websites you no longer want to maintain. You choose which accounts you want to transfer.
What if I’m not retiring?
You might want to focus on design, start something else or simply work less. The conversation is the same: finding someone to look after the clients you’re ready to hand over.
Will clients have to change their website or plan?
We review the websites and existing agreements before making a proposal. If a migration, redesign or plan change is needed, we discuss it with you and then with the client. None of these is an automatic condition of a transfer.
How long will I need to stay available?
We agree on a transition period and what it covers. The goal is to pass along access and the details of each website, with a clear end date for your involvement.
Do I need to send you my client list?
Not for a first conversation. Overall figures and a description of your services are enough. We can sign a confidentiality agreement before reviewing the details.
Start with an email
What are you thinking about next?
Tell me roughly how many clients you look after, which services you provide and when you’d like to hand things over. We can talk even if you’re still figuring it out.
